A rare sight indeed, outside of tornado alley. You didn't happen to have a camera with you, huh? It was probably too dark to come out on film.

I was coming home from James Island back into Summerville/Ladson when the storm struck and hadn't even gotten home yet so I had no camera with me last night. I probably would have be able to get one very good shot of the shelf cloud and of the striations (sp.) of the parent supercells.
