NHC predicting direct hit on Mobile?

Wow. Not that any town would do well with a direct hit from Dennis, but wouldn't Mobile be the worst possible scenario at this point? From everything I've read, Moblie Bay would channel the storm surge making it much more intense and of course worse.

I was just talking to a friend of mine, and he tells me that there are some people living near Fort Morgan that plan on staying. I hope they're reconsidering. I dread reading the paper after this is over.

I have family in Gulfport and have been in contact with them throughout the day. There has been no real urgency from their state that a hurricane may be approaching them. Thanks to Storm2k I have been briefing them on what's happening. Keep up the good work.
