Sleeping on and off in my family room in front of the TV. Wondering if it's safe to let my dogs outside. Realizing that it probably is and how lucky we are.

Worrying about those in the path of Dennis. Realizing that the wobble discussion ARE really starting to drive me crazy. Remembering from last year what a difference a wobble can make.

I made up a new proverb!

May your worst nightmare wobble to the right.

I send this thought to all S2Kers in Dennis' path! Hey, if there's enough of us, maybe we could wobble Dennis right back out of the GOM. Wow...that's almost not even funny...stay safe everyone...

x2

Looking at radar (fine... south) Tampa really escaped much of the wrath that this storm possesed too. A few more miles east and this storm could have easily clobbered us with some very nasty weather. But yet again, nothing more than some blustery wind and rain.... thankfully.

Considering where you live I would not either. Hell I am 1500 miles away and cannot since I have friends in the area.

Good luck to you.

I work evenings/nights, so I'm normally up this late, getting ready to go to bed. Just saw a Floyd Flashback on CNN, they showed the street one of my ex-girlfriends lived on - under 8 feet of water.

Cause we already didn't sleep the past two nights and know that landfall will not be until after daylight. Oh, and because we don't wanna watch the blow up anymore when we have friends and family sitting in the path who literally had to make the decision, "Do we want to risk dying on the road, or risk dying in our own home?" It is not an easy choice.
