Dennis in mobile

With dennis looking like its gonna make landfall around pcola gulfshores area what kind of winds should we expect here in mobile?

Certainly More than you Got in IVAN! West side of Ivan FELL OFF! or Dissapated some what! This Is NOT happening with Dennis!

remember when the center hits the winds will spread out...so we will likely still see over hurricane force

Wind should be offshore (NNE to NNW) in the 45-85mph range. Given the center is now only about 60 miles off the coast and surface obs. are still not reporting very high winds indicates this thing is very tightly compact around the eye.

Winds are going to come up very quickly along the coast from Pensacola to Destin.

You need to be sheltering in a safe place immediately

Also, Dennis is coming from a different angle, Ivan was moving NNE when made landfall, Dennis is moving NNW.

SO 45 to 85, i just heard the most we will probaly get is somewhere in 100 mph range

Just heard that to on Fox 10 wala which also said L/F anywhere from GulfShores to P'cola!

Yup Channel 5 news just said could get gust to 120 and sustained winds would be somewhere in the 90 100 mph range, i guess we'll find out really soon

Well conditions dont seem to be getting to bad here in mobile, i know pcola is most likely getting beat to death but i guess this is about all were gonna see in mobile
