All in all its pretty amusing to watch. They are grownups, they know the risks. I, Stupidly did the same thing in Frances and Jenny.. I could not help it.

Ratings are part of it, I'm sure ... but most reporters are kinda crazy that way anyways ... they figure they have a duty to let us know whats going on, even if it puts their lives in danger. Quite a few reporters have died or been injured overseas while reporting on combat, too.... I guess you just have to have a mean daredevil streak.... :D

And hey, we are all watching, aren't we? :wink:

Watching people standing out in the road leads one to think that the storm is no big deal...why evacuate??

Then again, we aren't seeing coverage from the ocean front.

I would evacuate. You would evacuate. But the average person could easily conclude that if these guys can still broadcast from the eyewall, why should they leave their homes??
