From this radar it looks like the SE part of the eyewall is opening up. Wouldn't that be good for those in the path? (Yes, I know they're still getting 120+ mph winds, but the eye isn't totally closed up as it was)...

Yep. CNN is always on top <cough> baby milk factory <cough> of things!
Actually, today was the first time in a coupla years I've bothered to check CNN, and they've done a pretty decent job .. at least of the little I've watched of them.
