Well, looks like the folks at 53rd WRS will get a short break before flying missions again.

If Dennis took our red tide away, I wonder if Emily will bring it back.

I just signed up after lurking all week. Great job by everyone here. I look forward to reading, watching and contributing where I can to this site.

Keep up the good work gang!

Yup we have some time with this one. At least 3 days where we can pretty much get sleep at night. Thank god. I fell asleep at 5pm today while viewing sat and radars. Just woke up a little while ago :) I was so mad I fell asleep. I had to track this thing all night though borderline cat 5 at times had me soo scared. But all in all it seems it was much much bette rthan it could have been. We have some time folks Enjoy it and catch up on your sleep and w/e else :)

I'm thinking this season is exactly one month ahead of itself. July=August, August=September, September=October, etc...

It is possible that September will be plagued by autumn cold fronts and strong troughs and if we see 3 tropical cyclones, it will be a bonus.

Let's hope so......

I can't help but look at Emily as a storm with a score to settle.

Since the Tampa/St.Pete/Sarasota areas have escaped direct hits for ages now, I hope the score is elsewhere.

Preferably with a flounder swimming in the North Atlantic.

Are you wanting one for the computer or a paper & pencil type one?? For the one you mark yourself, Publix has good ones. For the computer types, there are several. I use one that I downloaded from a link someone posted on here. I just hop on the web and it automatically updates the positions for me. It's realtively simple, so if you're looking for a more advanced type, I'd ask one of the pro-types on the board

I wouldn't mind using both. Do you have the link for the one you use? I am just learning so the ones the pros use would probably be greek to me.
