New Poll on Now Tropical Storm Emily

#1 Postby cajungal » Sun Jul 10, 2005 10:07 pm

I started a new poll on Tropical Storm Emily. Let's hear some early guesses. If your opinion is not a option on the poll, you can just leave a comment. You can also now just take your best guess what U.S states will be most likely affected if at all.

Anything this early beyond 72 hours would really but just that... a guess... let's wait and see where this heads between now and Wednesday. Then we should have a better idea.

Where's the option for going over Florida East Coast, then reforming out in the gulf and hitting the panhandle?

And, just because I'm not afraid of being called a you-know-what, nor am I afraid to eat a little crow, I'll admit that I voted for the Florida East Coast. That, of course, is based on the preliminary tracks coming out tonight with it staying just north of Hispaniola.... :sun:

Could be a double hit. Just forgot to put it on the poll. Most likely double hit like south Florida/Florida Panhandle. Or south Florida/Louisiana. Those are 2 scenerios also. Just state your opinions if the options are not on my poll.

You'd like that too much. That's why it's not an option.

how about a s. Florida hit, then a hit in texas, if it were to hit the gulf, that would be the best, because they haven't got any of the 4 yet.

I am voting for East Coast and crossing fingers it goes WAY above the SE coast. Actually hoping for a fishing trip instead but.....if it goes anywhere, hopefully it will give some other people some grief.

Where's the option for the islands that are before the US mainland? All teasing aside...we do exist!

Alrighty then, eating crow is a small price to pay for a lifetime of SPAM...had some this morning. So, I'll say between Daytona Beach and Jacksonville,

I'm going with the early model that said the "Andrew type track"....south Florida then Louisiana. "Emily" sounds like a La. storm....kinda like "Betsy".

I say East Coast but didnt vote for it. I just dont want it to go on record cause I could be wrong and since I still have the chance to stay clean, I will excercise that choice right now.

You can have him, though that would involve me too, so you can't have him, sorry ..
I voted Florida East Coast, but I'm thinking more higher, near Central FLA
