I'm guessing you're the parent?

No the Godparent. Was there when she was born etc. She caused SO many problems (that I saw coming) and parents wouldn't listen. Caused MAJOR division in the friendship lost touch and haven't spoken in years. Found out she was arrested and in jail. Her family split up because of all the hovac she caused. Really sad story. To long to go into. Just NOT GOOD!

I know two Emily's....one older (like me) one younger. The older Emily was erractic as could be, then mellowed out. The younger Emily is just as roller coastery as the older one...yet to be mellow, though hope springs eternal.
As with td #5...we wait, we watch, we hope for the best...if it becomes Emily, well, it's just the weather, not a name 8-)

Emily is my 14-yr-old daughter. She is a special needs child, severely cognitively disabled, about the level a 2-year-old. She is nonverbal (though she just recently learned to say "mama"), but has a smile that will melt your heart. She is very sweet, but makes sure she gets attention. She loves videos, drawing on paper, and cutting paper. However, Emily has to be reminded to pick up after herself. So in other words, our family room frequently looks like it's been hit by our "Hurricane Emily"! :P

If that isn't enough warning, consider this: Emily's older brother is named Andrew. The family joke is to beware of hurricanes with the same name as our kids... so do not take a future storm named Emily lightly!

A very nice girl I had worked with at a copy center here in NC...she now lives in Winterhaven, FL.

Also, had a good friend named Emily whom I knew from a church I attended during my childhood years in OH.

I had a "girlfriend" back in late 2003 to about mid 2004 named Emily, who unfortunately had an ego the size of Europe! I would watch out in Bismarck, ND, if this thing develops!

Ah Emily....a name I will never forget. In third grade I liked the cutest little boy. His name was Vinnie. I wished so much everyday he would like me. But instead he liked....you guessed it....Emily  I was so mad because I didn't even think she was that pretty at all, and I hoped that she would just go away so I could have Vinnie all to myself! :x That is what I think about this "Emily" to be........

I DON'T LIKE YOU, YOU'RE NOT EVEN THAT PRETTY AND I WISH YOU WOULD JUST GO AWAY SO I CAN HAVE FLORIDA ALL TO MYSELF!!

That really is a true story.....only a sucker for love would remember something from third grade...27 years ago

I kissed a girl named Emily in second grade. She started sobbing and I got sent to the principals office. She was the only Emily I ever knew. She and I never really became friends.

My niece, Emily. She's amazing yet strong willed, a force to be reckoned with. She almost died at age 13 after a head on collision with a tree. But had the will to survive and did. She's now a powerful force at age 18. :D Let's hope if this becomes an Emily it doesn't take after her.

I know a girl from college named Emily. She's a nice girl, but extremely wild (parties hardcore) and tough (takes no prisoners in sports, especially volleyball).

Based on personality, I'd go with at least a Cat. 3 on this one!

The Emily that I know is about 3 years old, and such an adorable Princess! She insists on having things her way and being the center of attention. She loves to play hide and seek, and to play tricks on people.

If the next storm is like Emily, she will be beautiful (or beautifully formed) and will insist on following the path she chooses rather than that chosen for her by forecasters.

She will hide and play tricks on us... possibly masquerading as a mild storm and then becoming unexpectedly awesome at the last minute.

My precious little niece, who is 5 years old is named Emily. She's a very feminine little thing and she knows she's pretty, yet, she's very, very sweet.

Swimdude wrote:All righty, based on the real-life Emily's in your life, what will the storm, Emily, be like? Does she have a nice, sweet personality? Did you date her? [How many times?] Or was she a serial killer, managing to escape captivity for 23 years? Did she live in Flordia? Anyway, let's hear about the Emily's in YOUR life, and how much you'll have teasing them in the next week or two! :D

"My" Emily is a friend from last year and the year before... Sophomore and Junior year of high school. She's a wonderful Christian; and is all-in-all a great friend. That is, of course, until she had emotional issues... And it all went downhill from there. She started dating a good friend of mine, which naturally made things worse for her. She's excellent at staying out of situations that she's not involved in. Hence, I predict the following...

Cat. 2

Fish. [She wouldn't hurt a fly.]

[Again, based completely on the personality of my real-life Emily.]

So!

Let's hear about YOUR Emily!

my 3 year old that is now running around saying she is a hurricane.
