Have we ever had a 21 storm year??

I looked around to see if anyone had posted this already.. if it has been mods feel free to axe it... Has there ever been a year in which all the storm names have been used, if so in which year?? What happens if all the names are used, do they go into next years names?? Thanks

the all-time record for named storms, 21, set in 1933.

1933 has 21 storms.

If they use up all the names for this year (ending with Wilma), they'll start with Greek names (Alpha, Beta...).

Thanks for the quick replys. How fast did the named storms in 1933 start forming..I guess what I am trying to say is that are we ahead of 1933 pace??
