You might be thinking of the Hurricane Alley maps. You have to pay for them now. This is a sample: http://www.hurricanealley.net/images/02LALLMDL.gif. But they used to have far, far more models on this map -- about 30 or 40, if I recall. It was a train wreck.

Any other sites like this that show latitude/longitude projections for other models (GFS, GFDL, NOGAPS, etc.)?
