Here is a nice press release from Sprint re: our success of streaming live video of hurricane Dennis. As the saying goes "I love it when a plan comes together".

During the peak of the storm, hurricane expert Mark Sudduth reported that he was able to stream live video of Hurricane Dennis over his Web site and to news organizations across the country using the Sprint Nationwide PCS Network without any problems. The live streaming video gave people all over the world a safe way to view and learn about the power of a hurricane as Dennis made landfall.
