NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
1130 AM EDT TUE JUL 12 2005

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON TROPICAL
STORM EMILY...LOCATED ABOUT 575 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF BARBADOS.

THE TROPICAL WAVE LOCATED ABOUT 1000 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE CAPE
VERDE ISLANDS HAS BECOME LESS WELL DEFINED AND FURTHER DEVELOPMENT
IS NOT EXPECTED.

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE...ASSOCIATED WITH ANOTHER TROPICAL WAVE..IS
LOCATED ABOUT 300 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS.
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WITH THIS SYSTEM IS MINIMAL AND LITTLE
DEVELOPMENT IS EXPECTED OVER THE NEXT DAY OR SO.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
WEDNESDAY.

Looks like someone's in denial. I didn't like having a storm named after me last year either... but it happens to all of us. :roflmao:

You know, I was thinking about something like this yesterday. One of these days, we're going to have a monster male-J storm that will be retired, and they'll replace it with Jeff, and then I'll have to endure crap from people every six years. :roll:

the CMC model actually has this tropical wave behind Emily become STRONGER than Emily... I wouldnt be suprised to see TD 6 in the works by the end of this week.
