GalvestonDuck, I'd go without a second thought if they asked me, too! :)

I did get to fly a simulated mission at Space Camp, way back in the 7th grade.

I couldn't think of anything. I am so accustomed to bouncing from one crisis to another, meeting other peoples needs, keeping my head above water, etc., that I don't have much time to dream. I think I need a vacation. Oops, can't afford it!

We would buy this place we love in Sonoita and work at the Nature Conservancy in Patagonia, AZ; go to Macchu Picchu; go back to Israel for an extended visit; live in Alaska for a while; go fishing in New Zealand; and ride on a Hurricane Hunter!

Quit my job and spend a month on a tropical island with my entire family. Come back home and buy a beach cottage for the summer time and a log cabin in the hills for the winter time.

Go fishing in Alaska
Take a train trip across Canada
Take a RV across the US for about a couple of years, to really explore it all, and hit all the good fishing spots

Those are prolly the tops three things I would like to do in the US...with my BF.... if we are outside the US, different story. :D

this is my #2 idea. :)

It's way early yet, but this is how Mrs. Alum and I plan to retire. It's more feasible than the "sail around the world" idea which is my first choice. We'll probably settle for having a sailboat based in Florida that we can sail around the Caribbean from time to time, while mor eor less living in an RV the rest of the time.

Since we're all giving #2 wishes....I'd love to see Alaska, on soil, not on a cruise. I'd want to see as much of that state as I possibly could, with safety being an priority. Just not the cruise type. Hawaii #1, Alaska #2 - quite the contrast!

If money was no object, I would without hesitation open an orphanage for HIV Aids babies back home in South Africa. Give these children some hope and love, even if it is just for the short time they are with us on this earth.
