Isn't Emily almost over the spot where Dennis became a TS?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Isn't Emily almost over the spot where Dennis became a TS?

I'm using a very crude map with my trusty chart protractor. Emily is almost to the spot where Dennis turned into a TS. Not that it matters, but it is interesting to me.

And two steps ahead with better overwater conditions than Dennis.

The waters ahead have had a week to rewarm in the high-angle July sun.

I have a feeling we are going to see some capital letters in a day or two...

They said that Dennis actually made this area more favorable for development. Definately not a good sign.

what's more freaky is that Emily is 3 steps up on Dennis... techniquely meaning she could peak at a cat 7
