Statement as of 5:08 PM EDT on May 8, 2003

...The Tornado Warning For Virginia Beach In South East Virginia Has Expired...

At 5:15 PM EDT... National Weather Service radar indicated the thunderstorm which prompted the warning had weakened and moved out of the warned area. The warning has therefore been allowed to expire.

A funnel cloud was spotted by law enforcement with this storm... but there are no reports of a touch down... some wind damage has been reported and hail as large as 3 inches in diameter has been reported throughout the city.

I'm not sure what region/part of PA, Johnathan, but I read earlier in a topic today by VAWXWatcher6 (John) that there could be an outbreak from PA down to GA by Sunday of this weekend.
