Yes, we all know the "Foxcasters" are the best out there!

I hope that wasn't Janice Dean, expert teleprompter reader.

Don't depend on Fox News for weather... I've learned that.

Models are very tightly clustered on a Yucatan hit, not missing to the north. I'm not ruling out South Texas yet though.

The Weather Machine!

She is a weather reader, nothing more, and thats the case for all of them. They have no clue what they are talking about, they do worse hiring than TWC now.

UKMET still forecasts a Yucatan Channel pass. GFDL barely scrapes the Yucatan Peninsula. This is still 4 days away and some of you are saying it's got zero chance of going through the channel, despite it being well within the cone of uncertainty. Some of you guys are sounding more and more like the muppets who were forecasting a direct hit on Tampa during Charley last year because all the models converged around that area. At 4 days out anything can happen. A large amount of the Texas coast will liklely be in the next updates' cone of uncertainty. It's final landfall is also still 6-7 days away. If you guys really are able to pinpoint these landfalls and which areas are safe, they should just throw away all the computer models and hire you guys to write the advisories, as you clearly know more than the experts do!

This is all you need to know...
Janice Dean joined FOX News Channel (FNC) in January 2004 as a weather forecaster. Most recently, Dean was the news editor and entertainment reporter for “IMUS In The Morning,” on WFAN-New York and simulcast nationally on MSNBC.

Prior to working on WFAN, Dean was a weekend on-air traffic reporter for CBS 2 New York. Before that, she was at CHUM Limited in Ottawa, Canada where she held numerous positions such as a morning news anchor for “Breakfast at the New RO,” producer and host of “The Broad Perspective” on CFRA and an anchor for KOOL-FM. From 1998-2001, Dean hosted various radio programs in Houston, Texas at affiliates including: Metro Networks, KODA-FM, KKBQ-FM and KLDE-FM.

Dean began her career in Ottawa, Canada at CHEZ-FM where she was a morning show co-host, reporter and DJ. In 1997, she was an on-camera weather host at CBOT Television. Dean received an honors diploma from Algonquin College, in Radio and Television Broadcasting.

She has NEVER worked in weather before, except of course as "Weather Host" on CBOT TV (???)
