Netherlands Antilles Curacao Radar

#1 Postby TampaFl » Thu Jul 14, 2005 6:58 am

Hurricane Emily's outer bands are now showing up on the Curacao radar. The eye should be within radar range within the next 12 - 24 hours.

Thanks. I'm slowing building up a list of island radar sites.

Cool!

Center just hopped into range. Looks to be low-tracking steady at 275 degrees...

Warning: Morbid thought. :(

I've been wondering how Emily might affect Aruba...and what that might do to the possibility of EVER finding Natalee Holloway's body.

I suppose Emily's ability to stir up the seas down there means there will be no body ever found. No one ever held accountable. No closure and peace for Natalee's mother and family.

How horrid.

Yeah that is a bit disturbing. Must be a painful situation. I know how it hurts. An older sibling of mine died 6 years ago.

Emily looks so small, that it's kind of cute! :) But, don't mess with her, she can make yur life miserable if you are in her path.

This is the LAST thing Beth Holloway Twitty and family need right now. I cannot even imagine being in her shoes--other than to say I would stubbornly refuse to accept the nonsense coming from the van der Sloot's and the Aruban government, and I would REFUSE TO LEAVE without final resolution as to where and what happened to my daughter.

Fortunately, we have a relative in the US State Dept with exellent connections. I don't think we'd be getting the same run around they've been getting from the Arubans...but then, (no offense to Mrs. Twitty), I wouldn't have allowed my just graduated high school aged daughter to go to Aruba without me in the first place.

Florida? Yep. Texas? Yep. California? Maybe. ARUBA or another foreign tourist trap? No way.

Still my heart breaks for the entire family.

I agree with you Jeny. This is a very very difficult situation for all involved here. I really sincerely hope that somehow we can all find some closure to this mistery.

I find it terribly difficult to comprehend the possiblity that Hurricane Emily might help someone get away with Murder (literally), by washing away whatever evidence of a crime that might be found.

Whoever did this despicable thing to Natalee shouldn't be getting an assist from Mother Nature (and Emily) in their effort to get away with it. Then again, maybe Mother Nature will provide an assist to Law Enforcement and surface Natalee's body? I suppose that's possible, isn't it?

Whatever...after SIX very long weeks, her poor Mother and Father deserve an answer as to WHERE their daughter (or her body) is, and what happened to her. They deserve some sort of closure. And the pathetic piece of human excrement who did this deserves to answer for their crime(s) and be held FULLY accountable (not that I am holding my breath for Aruban "justice" for Natalee--this place seems to be just about as bad as any Banana Republic could be).

Well... the police officials have screwed up the investigation SO badly, I'm really beginning to wonder if the suspect they have did anything. It's absolutely ridiclous... been 6 weeks and we know nothing more than we did when we first learned she was missing. At this point, I'll be shocked if they ever find her body and it'll be next to impossible to get a conviction without it. I figured this case would have been solved by now.
