You have to reach back to the 071200 run to find a NOGAPS as far north as this one... across Jamaica between 36 and 48 hours...

It hasn't run up to landfall point yet. It will still be another 10 minutes or so probably until it runs up to that time frame.

Dude, you have to learn that models aren't the gospel. Models have been 1000% wrong before and GFS especially is known for flip-flopping. If you base a forecast on a model, especially one model, then you are due for a major bust.

Models are NOT fact, and are subject to change. Models are not a sound reasoning either.

Still, all of the models were clustered in central Mexico a couple of days ago. Now they're clustered in TX, it could very easily change again.

Whats the thing though about these people is they only make a big deal when the situation is more favorable to them, like we saw with FL folks with Dennis.

Landfall appears to occur in Southern or South Central Texas at 138 hours

Landfall point is further south than indicated in 18z.
