Shifted over to the right with the guidance, and it'll be a close skid between the Yucatan peninsula and the channel. That could have a big effect on intensity when it makes landfall in mainland US/Mexico. Forecast brings a Cat 3 to Texas/Mexico border near Day 5 point.

And BTW, I apologize about the haphazard schduling of these forecasts; I've got another baseball tourney starting today, and we had a tornado come through last night, so I've been busy the past 24 hours. :lol:
Luckily, no damage with the tornado; it was short-lived and stayed in the field, but neat to watch.
