Oh yeah, I remember that sudden weakening Charley experienced before landfall....not...
Im surprised he would have forgotten such a recent event and huge news story. Major canes still hit the coast, and cat 4s are not out of the question at any itme. A lot of itmes though, a storm reaches its peak beforehand, and is weakening on the way in. It is storms like Claudette and Cahrley that need to be watched, as they strengthened as they approached.
