I am not a professional by any means,just a weather nut.At emily's present course,would it hit southern texas?I see watches went up for southern texas..Any info would be appreciated..i follow weather closely and love to track these hurricanes.

i track them real closly to but anyways

the NHC doesn't say so (i think i haven't loked yet today) but many people on the forum and a dude i know of think that it will get pushed up and it will and least hit texas with it's outer bands or even make landfall in extreme southern texas

Very unlikely, but a hurricane is not a point so squalls will affect South Texas.
