But still, why are they not finding winds corresponding to a 959 mb hurricane?

Winds have to respond to the pressure first, remember Dennis and how much it fell and winds didn't change at first, we're seeing the same thing here. We are well on our way to a cat 3 if this trend keeps up...

I fully understand your message. But is like the pressure and the winds are in different trains, and the wind train is delayed or something. :)

Hurakan, these cahnges in pressure are out of phase with the winds. You know that. We will wait to see the corresponding increase of the winds in the next couple of hours. more inertia :D
