Detailed maps of North Mexican coast

Lots of barrier islands and wide lagoons. Sure hope anyone in the area got warned of what is comming!

great maps! thanks for posting. those poor barrier islands, lagoons, bays, etc. are going to be swamped by emily. i sure hope folks living got the word!

El Universal (Mexico City newspaper) stated yesterday that a 'red alert' was up for the area and evacuations had begun in the state of Tamaulipas...another article from the same paper stated that there were 970 shelters in place for evacuees...
