What is sickening about that?
Aside from the impossible rapid strengthening, it moves out to sea after a brush with the Bahamas.

That won't happen, however i do think we may see a Hurricane Erin (1995) type Scenario...not saying it WILL become a Hurricane....but i think it will take a similiar path

GFDL is always so humble with intensification.

If 90L and the System in SW Carribean both become something...they would be Franklin and Gert, respectively
and if they both make Landfall....we'd be 7 for 7 this year with Landfalls in North America! Wow what a season
its like when Cindy Died down, we started watching Dennis, when Dennis died down, we started watching Emily....now that Emily is dying down, we're starting to watch the Systems that *could* be Franklin and Gert, respectively....and folks we're not even at the first of August yet!
I wonder if Dr Gray is going to up his numbers in his August update
I can't wait till Mid August when conditions are Ripe...oh man, we will see things poppin like Crazy!
Whether they actually make landfall is anyone's guess...it will depend on how strong the ridge is and how long it holds
i've heard some say it looks like a Scenario like last year is setting up with Florida/GOM in the bullseye....im sure our Floridian friends don't want to hear that, but just reporting what i've heard

Wait... you forgot to end that with </sarcasm>

It shows a little moisture moving NW, but that is it and it loses that once it gets over the Yucatan. Later runs may be much different if this system keeps holding together.
