A Romantic Hurricane Picture (You will be amazed!)

#1 Postby HURAKAN » Thu Jul 21, 2005 10:15 am

Image

Expedition 11 NASA Science Officer John Phillips captured this photo of Hurricane Emily on July 17, 2005, as the storm churned in the Caribbean Sea east of the Yucatan Peninsula.

Isn't that the most romantic hurricane picture you have even seen? Hurricane Emily, and the Moon in the backgound. Amazing!!!

HURAKAN,

Thank you for reminding about this picture... I had seen a very small version of it on El Universal a couple of days ago and tried looking for the original, but couldn't find it. I had intended to post an inquiry here, but forgot about it. Am very happy that you refreshed my memory.

The large version (93.27 kb) version of the picture is here:
