The coastal areas could use some rain they say but the Everglades is flooded since they are unloading the abundance of water in Lake O, we don't need anything parked over us, the wildlife is suffering as it is. :cry:

Local news in Palm Beach just said that the storm will curve to the North and inhibit any significant rainfall this weekend. Said all models had it going to the North.

Todays discussion from Phil Ferro over at Channel 7, no activity anywhere for 5-7 days other than the bahamas wave, lol.

Discussion:
We are watching a tropical wave over Hispaniola.

Right now, conditions are not favorable for development, but they could change during the next few days.

A hurricane hunter plane is on stand-by on Thursday to check the wave out if need be. For the moment, the wave is just a huge disorganized area of clouds and rain.

If the wave holds together, some of the moisture could make its way over So FLA late tonight or early tomorrow. This will bring us the possibility of a few tropical downpours.

There is some good news.... after this wave, Satellite imagery shows no other activity anywhere. Nothing in the Gulf, Caribbean or Atlantic Ocean. We can expect at least 5 - 7 days of tropical free activity.

I'd be more worried about the other system now, the one down towards Central America.

The Bahamas one looks pretty weak on the most recent satellite.

I hope the rain holds off for another week and a day or two. We're supposed to get our shutters next Thursday, if nothing messes up the schedule.
