Hey I thought you guy/gals (some of you) said it was going out to sea? I guess you forgot to mention it was coming back. Oh before some you get your feathers ruffled I'm just kidding.

I mentioned in the advisory thread, and what I see is the trof moving
east off the US coast will outrun TD6, and the ridge that builds in behind
the trof will move TD6 WSW and W.

A local met in Jax. just said that because of the close proximity of the storm, he believes there will be changes to the forecasts every couple of hours before the 11 pm advisory. :coaster: here we go!!!!!

Seems to be what the NHC is thinking as well. That is all we need is a storm sitting off the Florida east coast not knowing where it is going to go.

I guess the NHC figured they did real good with Dennis and Emily so now they'll go all out and forecast a loop....amazing!

Tommy Terry ch 9 in orlando agrees with the loop, possible sending it into central florida once loop is completed. Just said it at 5:40pm

Local met here on Ch 7 just indicated high pressure that has been moving off might be building in again and that could send the thing into a loop possibly affecting central Fl to S. FL. :?: :?:

Wait and see game now....

Hey....its still just a depression....Perfect opportunity to test my idea.
Lets start dropping Prozac into that sucker.... combined with therapy..it just might help...haha...... AND FOR GOODNESS SAKE...DON'T TELL
TOM CRUISE WHAT WE'RE PLANNING

from nws albany ny!!! This thing could anywhere i guess!

HYDROLOGY...
FRONTAL PASSAGE FRIDAY LOOKS FAIRLY DRY WITH LESS THAN A QUARTER
INCH PRECIP. RIVERS WILL REMAIN LOW. REMAINS OF HURRICANE EMILY
WILL NOT AFFECT OUR AREA BUT A NEW TROPICAL DEPRESSION APPEARS TO BE
FORMING NEAR THE BAHAMAS AND APPEARS HEADED IN A WNW DIRECTION. THE
GFS SUGGESTS THIS WILL MERGE WITH A FRONTAL SYSTEM OVER GEORGIA AND
THEN TRACK NORTHEAST. IT'S PEGGED TO GO OUT TO SEA ON SATURDAY BUT
WILL HAVE TO BE WATCHED CLOSELY AS A SLIGHT CHANGE TO THE LEFT COULD
SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECT OUR WEATHER.

a couple of mets down here say the front may not steer it far enough NE and then it will get caught again in the Atlantic and make a u-turn, come back around. They have also said that the front is weak and it may not get caught very long at all, just enough to send it NE a bit...kinda sounds like Jeanne.... all depends of this front at this point. IMO of course!

A bit similar to Jeanne but hopefully it will never become as strong as she was.

I can't believe its actually forecast to loop. I don't think I've ever seen that, except WHILE it was happening, like jeanne.
