I dont think it will be a fish storm... no matter how far east it goes the NHC has the heading EAST and not northeast. I think that Franklin will stay far enough south to remain strong and will loop around at some point to the west and will strike somewhere on the east coast.
as a note: it appears on satellite that Franklin is doing, dare I say it, a jog to the east... this could be the turn the NHC is forecasting or it could be just a jog...

Trust me -- islands count.![]()
Exactly...Bermuda for starters...they keep getting hit by big stuff and little stuff alike. And between NGPS, UKM, GFDL, and GFS, 2 models go north of Bermuda within 1.5 degrees latitude and 2 models go south within that distance, so yeah....

Hard to tell what Franklin will do,I suspect it al ldepends on wether Franklin makes the turn to the north soon,if it doesn't and keeps heading on its current track I believe a eventual landfall in northen florida is likely,if it does start making a turn then i suspect it'll be a fish....and god knows what happens if it starts to try and make a loop, possibly enough Jeanne considering it too was a strong TS by the time it did that.
