How can we help??

#1 Postby GulfBreezer » Sat May 10, 2003 2:57 pm

I have been trying to keep up with all of the destruction in the mid west and was wondering if anyone knew of any mailing addresses of where we can send donations of clothes and stuff to those who have lost so much. I have plenty of things that I can send over there but don't know how to go about doing that. Maybe we can even set up an address for S2K members to send it to and then distribute it from one place. Just a thought............

The best way to help in this situation is to contact your local Red Cross. They can then direct you to a better source, usually Red Cross, that is in the area affected and that knows what is really needed. Of course they always appreciate money donations and they usually can be directed to a certain area. I know we were able to do that last year during the AZ fires.

The only other credible way I think we can help is to contact Garrett or anyone else we know who has been directly affected by the storms and find out what is being done by what agencies in their area.
