fun experiments?

What weather experiments have any of you tried yourself or with your kids. We are trying to fry an egg (posting with pics about it here http://www.storm2k.org/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=69022). It's such a hit with the kids even though it's not going like we thought, I'd love to try other fun and easy ideas.

They are having so much fun between the experiment and sprinkler they are not even complaining about how hot it is :)
