The enviroment over franklin is becoming better.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Shear levels have fallen 10 knots over time. In the shear is now around 10 to 15 knots. With 5 knots to the south. The convection has also starting to redevelop over the cirulation with only the northwestern side being effected/exposed. Another dose of shear is to the north(40 knots)

It has not been around for a long time. There was many storms last year that had over 30 Advisories or even 50. Ivan had over 70 writen for it. In Kyle over 90.

I remember Kyle. Seemed like he was out there forever! He kept moving in a WSW direction for the longest time before approaching Florida as a tropical depression and moving up the coast. Strange storm.

It needs to build some convection over the center this morning or it's going to get downgraded later this morning.
