4 Scout leaders die at National Jamboree

#1 Postby Scott_inVA » Tue Jul 26, 2005 7:18 am

Some folks know when I left WREL radio (former home of the world famous model maps  ), I took a career service position with the Boy Scouts of America. Was surprised to get some emails this morning asking if I was ok. I was at the National Jamboree on Sunday and will return this week but not one of the leaders involved in the accident that killed 4 from Alaska.

Horrible story. Some of the fatalities had sons in attendence with them. Virginia is a long way from home for those scouts and other leaders...please keep them in your prayers.

Scott, I saw this on the news this morning. What a tragedy. Prayers definitely will go out to their friends and family. Very, very sad when something like this happens to people who are doing such good work.
