JB and 92L
Joe said on his video update this morning that 92L was going to head through the Florida straits and go in the gulf, he said it would not turn up toward the east coast

<P>As long as it keeps chugging through the Gulf to Tampico, I don't have a problem with this scenario.ivanhater wrote:Joe said on his video update this morning that 92L was going to head through the Florida straits and go in the gulf, he said it would not turn up toward the east coast

93 is in much worse shape than 92 (I wonder of people are confusing 93L with the wave behind it, which frankly has a lot more convection, has an actual surface circ, and frankly deserves to be an invest right now about 10 times more than 93L).

Still plenty of juicy air near the emerging LLC.
Looks like the dry air ahead of 92L will be history in the next 12 to 18 hours. It's eroding fast. There'll be some left in the Caribbean, but not from the islands north.

This is in another thread, but pertains to JB. From today's video:
92L will continue westward or NW and high pressure develops ahead of it allowing it to ventilate and develop further and will be watching closely.
He did not speculate on ultimate fate or path of 92L, and didn't even mention waves in open Atlantic.
