A lull soon? 92L,93L and maybe soon 94L behind 93 with good wave.

With four waves in the eastern Atlantic, I doubt there will be a lull anytime soon.

Well, maybe not all THAT soon, Luis, but after those three (if they develop), the African interior looks about as calm as it has for a long time.

everyone, we are IN a LULL right NOW! we have a TS meandering around and otherwise a couple of TWs... this IS a lull! the SAL is making this lull... the tropics however are so active and strong that those few TWs and Franklin too have overriden it... some of you might think that a lull is no action at all but in terms of THIS season this is a lull

I have to agree that even with nothing showing behind the three waves, the way this season is going, something will likely pop-up, whether it is more storms forming and moving across Africa, or maybe some home grown system.

The waves pick up over Central Africa and large areas of disturbed weather from India eastward to the Phillipines.

Waxing waves willn't weaken, we'll wait Wilma, WOW!

(was just for humor while we wait in this lull)

I know, I'm bored. Interesting how last few weeks I had summer school, it was all active, no school/freetime now, nothing, and then I have SAT classes starting next Tuesday, perhaps that'll bring more storms.

The NHC was talking about the possibility of 92L's wave northern part becoming the most dominant. Which like in the case of Franklin-Gert wave, the wave could split in two the northern part could go WNW and the southern part could go more westward resulting in two possible development scenarios.

By the way, are Franklin and Gert considered brothers or something similar to it?

I agree, this is as "lull" as it gets (at least this season)

Saw on the news tonight where India has had it's worst flooding ever the last few weeks. 600 dead so far... 37 inches reported on Tuesday... ALONE in one city.
