Well, that's interesting. How does he get there? Is he one of the 46 survivors who was in the background (not really) and wants to speak up now?

I already know about Boone......I like that guy too. I'm sure you were all saying, now why couldn't that have been Sawyer?
I made the mistake of telling Laura somewhere in the middle of a VCR tape (labeled simply, weekly shows), I have several Lost episodes. This was during dinner. She gave me that look - like drop what you're doing and find them! This was when I was trying to jump into the show, mid-stream/season, and got even more confused, b/c I didn't know who anyone was. I had to stop and give up. I don't think I've taped over these episodes. So I could make her day if I found them. Trouble is I'm going to have to cheat and read up on episodes, so we watch them in succession.

Help!
They skipped an episode and we're all confused now. Of course I went to epguides, and I see that we missed or the network skipped it, the one with Claire's dream, her backstory, etc.
All of a sudden, Claire and Charlie are kidnapped and thank goodness I asked sunny once, who Ethan was. Now I realize he's not an original crash survivor. He's one creepy dude!
Anyway, we also had a power outage, rolling blackout? So we were getting out our Sony TV/Radio/Wx box and then trying to find the Sony Watchman. Meanwhile the non-Lost family members were laughing at Laura and I, saying - we can't miss this show! We've tried so hard to catch up....LOL
So if you could all fill me on technically last week's show (Claire's dream, the story with the boyfriend who left her), that'd be great!
As you can see, we're uh, just a little hooked on this show!

That's certainly a different angle for a promo! If my husband sees that commercial, it might hook him. Right now he's casually watching with us each week, seemingly reading a magazine, but I catch him looking up. He just hates all the sci-fi, monster references. LOL He bought the story up until the island held mysteries.
For the record, I want Kate with Jack!
She'd better not string Jack along this year.....I'll be mad at that girl if she does.

PS - in the episode we watched last night, Jack and Kate find Charlie hung from a tree. As Jack was furiously trying to save his life, my daughter Laura was about to cry. Charlie is her favorite. Have to admit he's probably #2 on my fave list (Jack has the #1 spot). She had asked earlier who dies among the core group, later in the season. Pestering me something awful so I had to tell it will be Boone. Awwww, was the reply. And a sigh. Then we find Charlie hung from a tree. Even when it looked like he was a goner, I said no, wait, something happens. This guy does NOT die. I didn't think he was going to come to that fast but thank goodness I was paying attention to your posts last year!!! I would have been crying though, first time watching if I hadn't know the outcome. I like Charlie!

Sunny - they did and I just wrote to ABC. I do that sort of thing, ya know....he he.
But they need to know we missed an important episode! Dang it! I will check our DVR, but since we have nothing new to watch this summer, we are really into Lost! I know we missed something. Laura said it within 10 seconds, last week Syaid was kidnapped and now Claire/Charlie are missing? We missed an episode! She was more concerned than I was. But after reading the missed episode synopsis, wow, I know now we missed a pivotal episode. It's when you're also introduced to Ethan!

1. How did Ethan just enter the core group? Did he just walk up one day and start hanging out with them?
2. Is Charlie staying near Claire, since I take it he knew about her frightening dream?
3. What did her dream reveal?
4. Why would Jack give a pregnant girl a sedative? That doesn't sound right to me....
5. Last night's show went right into the search for Claire and Charlie. Was it a two parter, since we knew immediately we missed a huge chunk of footage!
6. Did you see Charlie being strung up by a tree?
7. And is his amnesia for real or did he see who took Claire?
8. Finally, I do know she returns. But that's an odd storyline....creepy!

Ethan just kind of "showed up" out of no where!

Charlie rarely leaves Claire's side. He is her self-appointed protector.
3. What did her dream reveal?
In Claire's dream someone was trying to take her baby. She woke up screaming "they were trying to take her baby" and everyone just put it off to a pregnant woman's fears.
4. Why would Jack give a pregnant girl a sedative? That doesn't sound right to me....
Jack said the sedative was mild and wouldn't hurt the baby, but would help her relax. He was afraid of premature labor.
5. Last night's show went right into the search for Claire and Charlie. Was it a two parter, since we knew immediately we missed a huge chunk of footage!
The show is "continuous", not necessarily a two-part. Each week picks up where the previous week leaves off.

Did you all trust Ethan right away, thinking he was one of the backdrop people, like that guy who was a hyprochondriac driving Jack nuts with his various rashes? Was he nice and all, then wham, turn nasty?
So many questions...the pace does move fast on Lost. Especially when an episode ends. All of a sudden you see that Lost word, no previews and we're always wanting MORE!
I want a Lost marathon is what I want. Won't get one I know....he he.

Laura's yelling, find the Sony Watchman, find the Sony Watchman.....Jim's looking at both of us like we're just nuts....LOL Took us about 5 minutes to tune into a picture. No, not really. He hates Sci-fi stuff. Right away when Laura was getting into the show with me, she'd get scared. She keeps a couch pillow nearby to hide behind. LOL At one point I had to tell her the island hold mysteries. And Jim blurted out something to this effect - well now that's odd! Walking away.....he had his chance to get into this huge hit!
I didn't want to miss my chance to catch up. This is how I was with all my favorite beloved shows - Dallas, Knots Landing, St. Elsewhere, Friends, etc. I'm either really into them, or casually, eh I can miss a show here and there, kind of mode. Let's just say I'm really into Lost. If this show keeps this caliber of writing/acting/suspense, it could jump into my Top 10 Shows of all time list....time will tell!
