Hurry up and run this visible loop (pretty cool feature)...

Looks like an arc-ing (sp?) boundary forms a circle around the center. Use the zoom to see it better. It's not a pentagram in a Cat 5, but it's still cool.

acording to that it looks like the tropical system that was forming in the gulf will be carried away by that front

carried away by what front? The NWS stated it will move west.

I just checked bouys out in the Gulf and the pressures are steady or falling.

the front is non existant basically...fronts don't make it very far south down there in the summer...

If you look at the loop and you turn on the NWS fronts there is a front right next to a low and i'm thinking that, that low is that system that has been forming in the gulf

Of course, these thunderstorms could consolidate into a low pressure area and become something, but itin the same token may not happen

If something develops it will remain stationary for awhile and then move westward. IMO

There is already a weak surface low in the area.
