Any Serious Hurricane Chasers Here?
I haven't done this yet but have been in the planning stages for a couple of storm seasons - getting ready to implement the plan soon. I live in east central Florida (Orlando area) and have what I believe to be a very safe way to chase storms. I am interested only in Atlantic hurricanes that would landfall from Key West to Jacksonville, but I have excellent logistics for the chase, if anyone is interested. I would like to hear if anyone else is presently chasing Atlantic storms along the Florida coast.

I live here in west coast near tampa. I chased charly last year on the 75 after i heard it turned ne. I had plans in place to go up to penns for dennis but had to work monday and it makde landfall to late on sunday for me to make it home. Those are all I've chased so far. I was here for frances and jeannes eyewall to pass directly over my house so didnt have to do much chasing with those. This year I plan and getting as much video as possible. Spent 1k on a 3CC Panasonic DV camcorder this january for weather stuff like these canes. Its true life images looks bettter than some dvds. But i hope to chase this year some more.

Perhaps many of you know about Stormtrack, perhaps not. Well, they aren't just tornado chasers, some are hurricane chasers also!
