Question for the Vet Mets:

The Tampa Trib ran a story last week saying that the union is taking action because of possible danger to the Hurricane Hunters - Do you think this is going to affect the quality of the information we receive?

Technically, these are not Hurricane Hunters - they are NOAA research jets.

Hurricane Hunters are Air Force Reserves flying Air Force C-130 (J)
or other variations.

And yes, they are right, the research jets are ill equipped to fly into hurricanes.
