What is it with the MM5?Looks like an invasion of UFO's from the EPAC to the NE ATL.

Looks like some bad data, no doubt, but, what's more siginficant is the continued easterly position of the subtropical high, which has been the case for the past several weeks (with only a weak ridge west of 50W).

If this is a long-term pattern (no one is quite sure), then this could change the entire outcome of the remainder of the season (since this current trend would favor recurving Atlantic systems).

Yeah, there's been a few other threads going on it past couple of days. By 120, there are 4 good storms in the Atlantic, one that came and went, one about to go, and one developing off of cape verde, as well as two in the East pacific. Funny thing is it lines those four gulf/W atl storms up like that for the past couple of days :?: :) I don't know, it seems pretty confident about those right now.
