Strange Little low
Probably an ULL sitting at 24N and 87W.Has a nice spin going on it's devoid of convection for the most part.Animate the link.

Yeah, it's pretty cool. The only thing I could find on it was @ 300mb on the 00z run of the GFS. It also takes the energy from 92L that pushed west and is south of Cuba and stretches it across the mid Gulf.

Maybe so, but it looks like an eye forming in the thing at the end of this loop.

That area south of Cuba has been persistent all night is that just interaction with the trough to it's north?

I watched the little ULL last time about 8:00pm on 8/1.It was about 150-200 miles S of NO moving N.Almost I thought looked like that Camille track. It is now sitting over the boot of LA.I only bring this up because one of the late model funs of 8/1 had some kind of weak low over NW LA in 48-72hrs.Seems to be alittle convection with it this morning. With a supposed broad low present(i never could see it)and ULL present can things happen?I am really asking maybe a met can chime in.Do not really expect anything from this just bored and observing and tring to learn.
