Whats going on over SE Lousisiana?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I'm worried our rain chances will be much lower today due to all the cirrus blowoff covering our skys from the morning New Orleans convection. There is no cumulus development over our area per visible satellite like there is in northern LA, SE Texas, and Mississippi. SE LA = rain hogs :grrr:

I like Channel 4 too, but during the summer, it seems like predicting 50% is about like saying here's your regular summer weather. Didn't hear anything new from them on the noon broadcast.

I need to just download and then upload it rather than remote-linking it because it always turns into a red 'x' after a period of time. Or I could get off my lazy tail and just setup my free Cox page and hotlink it from there but then I'd have to figure out how to do it. :)

Personally, I like the president (don't like some of the hired hands) but find that picture amusing. As a B&B fan from way back, they always make me laugh.
