How are members finding Storm2K?

Of course, I joined after D-Day. Even I can't talk about weather ALL the time!...*LOL*..especially when there is downtime like right now. (Well, actually I'll be posting something later tonight (Saturday) about a possible severe weather outbreak next week later ... waiting on some new model runs ATT)

It would be interesting to see some of what our newer members have to say and how they found Storm2k, 'cuz I would like to know myself.

I joined inOct 02' during the season and I found it by the invites from PBI message board. I was posting over there the whole season and really didn't feel like a "part of" that board. It was hard to get answers and there were a lot of comments that were made that insinuated that my questions were stupid, so when the invite came (I believe it was posted by ticka1) I jumped on it because she always seemed so nice and willing to help. I quit posting here after the season, mainly b/c it was a new board and I never posted about much of anything but the tropics.........when I came back (recently) I was absolutley AMAZED at the topics and the people!! I immediately started back posting and have no plans to quit!! I just signed up over at TWC simply because of Az's post about the flaming going on and wanted to check it out for myself and it really concreted my decision to stick with the people that I have really come to admire for their knowledge and sense of humor and most of all, their willingness to open up to strangers, these are the members of Storm2K!!! Thank you all for being here!!

Eric, I started this thread on Thursday, April 10th and bumped it up Saturday.

Now a question (and a question I had a month ago) ---> Which search engines specifically are members finding the site?

I think it would be interesting to take a poll to see where we are getting members. Another great stat.

I know I checked several search engines - google, msn and yahoo for storm2k and came up with several different websites including this one too.
