Gulf of Mexico Tropical Summary GUTS IN on August 3, 2005
<img src="http://www.diamondheadweather.com/guts20050803.jpg">
The Gulf of Mexico is quiet.
A ridge persists just east of Florida, and an upper level low
is slowly moving northwest over extremel southern Texas.
I do not expect tropical development in the Gulf of Mexico in the
next two days.

I've thought about that, but I've gotten feedback on how much folks
like the seperate GOM summary.
I suppose once things are active, the seperate GUTS/WATS/EATS will
be better appreciated.

Good point, it is early. I'm sure you'll have plenty of work to do when we have 6 simultaneous systems in the Atlantic this September
