With the SOI in the negative mid-teens, do you think will there be another kelvin wave or will it just be a burst of westerlies? It seems like the SOI's down in the -20s or lower when there is a kelvin wave (of course I've only watched it once or twice, so it might be coincidental).

Looking at the depth graphic I dont see any big kelvin wave like the one back in March and April meaning no el nino will form in the next few months.
