Good Morning!

*UGH*, sitting here doing our estimated taxes for the next quarter :grr: Looks like Michelle and I will be a proud owner of a Grumman F-14 "LOL!" Sign on the F-14 (This plane was paid for with the tax dollars of Dennis & Michelle Denton!)

Steve, my God, I am so very sorry to hear about the loss  how tragic, we're all here for ya, you know that, if there is anything we can do for you and Kathy, PLEASE let us know. I cannot even begin to express my sorrow for you

Well, enough outta me this morning, make it a GREAT day would ya's? Steve, once again, my deepest sympathy for your loss

Sounds like fun Amanzi...I love days at Disney!

Steve, thats a feeling I've often thought about, what happens when one day you wake up, and your mother, grandmother, father, grandfather are all gone? I hope I don't experience that for a long time to come. I'm sorry for your loss, and I'm sorry you're experienceing those feelings...Nice that you are there for the rest of your family tho. Hope the rest of the trip goes smoothly and nice...

have a great day!

Steve, I am sorry to hear about you uncle. My condolences to you and your family. Hopefully the next couple days are as best as can be.

Welcome home, Bron.

Good luck on your finals Garrett and Shannon.

There should be some rain this week, the developing system over Texas is expected to move into Florida by midweek. Cold front that is passing through now doesn't have much moisture with it despite being in the low to mid 90s with dewpoint around 70.

Hi Sandi Welcome. Steve I am sorry for your loss.
Today wasn't too bad it was cool in the morning 53* and went up into the 60's. It is now dropping into the 50's nice night for sleeping, not too warm not to cold.

HI YA SANDI :D Welcome to the porch, *psst* watch out for this fella called VBHOUTEX, if you sit down with a chocolate covered doughnut, watch out, he'll sneak up from NOWHERE and grab your doughnut and high tail it outta here

Well, it's time for a HOT shower and COLD beer!

Sandi, welcome to the "Porch." :)

Temperature 'all the way down to' 80 degrees, a few degrees cooler than it has been in the early evening. The cold front passed my area, moving very slowly... a few hours ago. It is expected to move down a bit more before stalling out and move northward as a warm front; as it is doing in southeast Texas.

Sandi...welcome to the porch! :D What ever you do...don't leave Krispy Kremes on the table...they will be gone in an instant (whether by Crouton...our pot bellied pig or by Mr. VBHoutex)

Classes are OFFICIALLY OVER! Heck ya...Oh yea!!!! :D :D No more boring lectures, pop up quizzes, etc. Only Finals left! :o :o But anyways, I'm glad this semester is practically overwith.

Although today started as a cold and windy day, it sure turned into a nice day out. Temp was 63*, but the winds were a bit gusty. I'll take it anyday!!

Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone.

Steve, I am so sorry about your loss. :( That is so sad. Let me know if you need anything.

In light of this saddening development, it has been a pretty good day overall. Got a lot done here in my room, hence why I just got on the boards.

It was much warmer and *can you say* a bit MUGGY :o today. The high was 73 with some mid level moisture moving in from the southwest. It almost felt like Florida except about 25 degrees cooler.

In light of Steve's uncle's passing, I will not use any happy emoticons today. Have a good Tuesday. Joshua

Morning everyone. That darn Crouton... I swear! ;)

Well...I will be offline most of the day as I am organizing a drive to help the storm victims. I will be posting a thread later to see what ya'll think ( and just maybe see if you might want to help).

Have a great Tuesday and good luck on finals Shannon!

Garrett :)

Congrats Pojo!! I am back in school myself and finishing my Bachelors so I can be rich some day!! I tried to find a rich man instead of going back to school but decided studying my butt off would be more practical. Nothing against rich men...........it is just that most of them are old!

Why is our pot-bellied pig named Crouton?

Hey VB...............
Leave My Chocolate KK's ALONE!!

Any rich men out there in their late 30's, early 40's?? I could always quit school and take over your checkbook!! J/K, I am really not that shallow.................

By the way..........it was a beautiful morning this morning.......63 degrees and breezy!!

Good evening all. :D Hope we had a great Tuesday. I took an hour nap this afternoon and it felt good. ;)

I prayed for Steve last night and will continue to do so for as long as he needs it. :( Poor guy.

Pretty uneventful otherwise. Joshua

Gulf Breezer...I'm only finishing the Spring semester...I still have 3 semesters left at UWGB. :o :o A couple of my friends are graduating! :D But I'm still stuck here.

As for the name Crouton...I don't know the basis, but, Bob Child (yes, the Bob Child that was at TWC) left TWC for Charlotte and when that happened he had ask Dennis (azsnowman) to watch him on the Front Porch...so when we moved the Porch over from TWC to Storm2k, Crouton came with. That's all I can explain...Dennis might be able to help you out on the naming portion.

Beautiful day outside!!! Todays' high was 70* :D :D Very little winds!!! Right when our study break is...we are blessed with gorgeous weather!!! You don't have that very often especially on days off! :D

As for work...that was another story! Oh My Goodness...what were those kids on! I'm glad my teaching stint only covers swimming lessons! Anyways, my last two classes were spent mainly yelling at the kids...none of them were listening, nor paying attention. :x We were going over Safety Week Materials (ie...reaching assists, lifejackets) and most, if not all, of the kids were out in left field land throughout the whole lesson! :x :x What made it worse, is that I have war wounds from today's lessons...A nice long scratch on my right arm from one of the girls who jumped off the diving board, another bruise on my left leg from one of the kids that kicked me, and a possible ripped muscle in my left calf. (Its almost virtually impossible to walk!) Needless to say, I'll be laying on ice packs all night.

Ok, ok...enough of the crying game...I'm getting off the soap box.
