TalkinTropics Tonight...9PM EDT

#1 Postby MWatkins » Thu Aug 04, 2005 12:06 pm

Hey we'll be back tonight at 9PM for yet another edition of TalkinTropics. Gee...there isn't a lot to discuss...so I suppose we'll thrown in:

Harvey and what will likely be a new tropical depression...we'll break it down and discuss concerns about it coming westward for a while.

We'll follow up on our conversation last week re: SB 786

We'll discuss a new study released from U-CAL Berkley about what makes hurricane winds so darn fast

Which will renew the discussion on the merits of weather modification...can hurricanes be weakened or stopped? And if so should they?

Oh and almost forgot...we will get into the new NOAA and CSU Dr Gray hurricane outlooks...and what that means for the next 3 months...

Please drop in at 9:00PM...see you there...

First time listening to the show tonight, great job guys...oohh and an Earth and Space show on Monday! Man, I can't believe I didn't know this was around. Being a Science Channel and Nat Geographic nut I'm gonna love this channel.

Thanks Mike and Paul for letting me answer the question about Project Cirrus. Very tough question by the by. I'll tune in again soon!
