TD9 forecast number 2

#1 Postby deltadog03 » Sat Aug 06, 2005 1:49 pm

ok folks here is forecast number 2....i just seen the 18z tropical model runs and they showed an eastward shift...we will see, but, here is my thinking...i think this is going to miss the trof connection and pretty much move WNW and then more westerly as the ridge builds in and westward...enjoy..comments?? :D

Nice forecast map. I have been away for the past 6 hours so I feel lost. So that path looks like now florida could be very much under the gun! Am I right?

The entire SE coast of the US needs to watch. Its still very very uncertain whether the storm is going to recurve sooner, later, or not at all.

Well....i think the gulf is highly unlikely for this one.

yeah, prolly right but, if that ridge is strong enough, it could continue to push W from FL...doubt it though

Nice track (both pos. and strength), I like it better than NHC's right now.

Nice graphics and interesting analysis. I agree, still up in the air concerning the path. Since it is a little further north now, it appears more likely to be a fish, but still no guarantees there.
