Im really not sure. I dont see anything that threatens to develop. Not even a sign of a wave about to emerge off Africa. But I would say after 6-7days.

My guess would be over a week. The upper level lows and the abundance of dry air are combining to make it difficult for anything to get going right now, but that hopefully will change soon.

There's a wave about halfway across Africa that look decent for now (I thought that of another wave that looked better and even had spin, about the same place, it fell apart in 18hrs.) I say 6-7 to be safe.

With all the dry air out there and nothing in sight (as far as I can see), I voted for over a week. Probably more like 2 weeks.

Some convection to the SE of Irene, and a big wave to emerge off Africa. 4-5 days IMO. IMO this season has a very nasty surprise up its sleeve, things will likely explode late this week given certain atmospheric shifts, if the B-high builds in it may stop all the ULL from ripping everything up, and more moisture with SAL dissipating could lead to more storms

I would have to agree. IMO this season is going to have some major explosion by the end of the month. Don't want to scare people, but this season worries me.

I would watch that upper low around 73 to 75 west. Because if it keeps firing convection over it then its possible. I say if so 3 to 5 days. If not over a week.

It's my joke that the season REALLY gets started once I don't have any time to track the storms. So as for Jose; August 15th... In the afternoon. :lol: Sooo what's that... 6-7 days!

I think in a couple days. There are not much well defined waves out there but I think something will pop just East of the islands.

ULL's will be out of here before you know it along with the dry air. It is very active right now, 2 named storms. Remember, that is with the ULL's and Dry Air! I think people are wanting storms to be near the US. Then that is activity!
