DRY, DRY, Hot and DRY....!

#1 Postby breeze » Sun Aug 07, 2005 10:18 pm

Been watching the radar, for the last few days. Seems
that when rain gets close to my county (Lawrence County),
it just disapates, as if on command. When the dog runs
across the yard, she kicks up dust. It's been nearly a
month and a half since we saw a substantial rain. I've
watched rain dance around us, all weekend, on the radar.
Even the weeds are dying! The veg garden and the flower
gardens are dry. I've given up. Even a tropical storm
from the gulf (sorry MS and AL) can't save us, now! And,
running the sprinkler in the veg garden doesn't help...them
little veggies know the difference!

*A-Choooooooo!!! (sorry - had to sneeze from the dust!)...
